Having been long-time collaborators in a variety of line-ups (most notably Newcastle trad tour-de-force Pons Aelius), the pair launched this latest highly-produced studio venture mostly by accident: in an effort to wile away the long days of lockdown, they began sharing scraps of ideas. This quickly crystallised into their ambitious debut single 'Smiling May You Go and Smiling Come Again', which features members of Breabach, The Shee, Dallahan and Heisk (to name a few), and a remote orchestra, comprising members from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Hot on its heels, their latest effort, Who Is Spain?, was put together entirely in-house, featuring only the playing of Jordan and Bevan themselves.
